We drove north to Barcelona after climbing at Sella. It's a bloody long way! And the toll-roads are an unexpected cost - I would have hated to think what it cost in $AUD. It might be worth comparing the cost of extra days care hire and tolls, etc to a train or cheap flight to one of the southern cities. What's the holiday centre nearby that has an international airport - Majorca? And get a car there.

Sella (pronounced "say-ya" was sensational. Totally bolted sport climbs right through to long, trad adventure routes. It's in the "Costa Blanca Rock" guide, I think. Great daywalks nearby too & nice camping.

We also climbed at El Chorro but it was colder and rained, which buggered plans up a bit, especially since the easier climbs are slabs. Not particularly sunny, either, so it got pretty cold on the more sheltered routes. If time's limited I'd be inclined to skip El Chorro in winter (based on climbing there for 1 week once!) although it's a sensationally atmospheric spot.
