Araps rock is renowned for taking bomber nuts, all you have to do is throw your rack at the wall and clip whatever sticks.

So thats why the general advice is tending towards being more selective about the nuts you bring.

for my two cents on cams - bring a good range, and dont do too much doubling up.

My largest cam is #4, I place it plenty, though mainly due to me wanting to get rid off the exess weight than because I actually needed to place it. I have probably only placed it once or twice in actual need.

The climbing at Araps is varied, and so is the gear really. So it does depend on what you have in mind of doing.
