As far as I am aware, there are 4 legit camping areas all free in the Blue Mountains City
(I kid you not... city). Non of these are near any climbing areas, really.
Bulls Camp - biggish area adjacent to the highway and well signposted at Woodford.
Just a few metres on from Lawson Pool, but the pool has had some bad vandalism after
hours; such vandals might want to say hello to you.
Upper Megalong Valley - on the RHS after the big downhill from Blackheath.
Cathedral of Ferns - at Mount Wilson. It is on the RHS about a km after the fire station.

I was running out along Narrow Neck last night after work. Be like the Euros in
oversized campervans and camp alongside the road. Speccy views. Just take your
cigarette butts and your butt cigars out of the area with you.
