Yeah, PF's not bad, particularly the sea cliff climbing which is about 20 minutes drive.
But, it's certainly not world class and didn't meet the hype for me (at least at the grades I was climbing). The camp site is certainly cheap ($5 per night), friendly, but too many conceited hippies and too close to the road - trucks go past all night which drove me a bit nuts. 2080 is a must climb at 23 - about an eight metre roof over a 40 metre drop - insane!

Castle Hill on the other hand is amazing, even if you're not that into bouldering. I would go there over Paynes Ford anytime.

If you've got cash, just hire one of those tiny cars - it will cost you probably $600 or so for the two weeks if you sweet talk the ladies at the rental place (i used Eurocar), but it makes like easy. Otherwise, PT is a mission, but in a way less stress with that too - if you're planning to go JUST to PF, then might as well PT it.
