Its often a bit too hot at that time to do anything hard. Whilst the locals may be able to knock out some hard stuff, for a first time visitor trying to acclimatise the heat can make things a little tricky.

That said, you're flying half way round the globe to get there and its obviously better to hedge your bets going at a time when it may be a bit on the warm side but you'll get stuff done than when its more likely to be cold, but also more likely to piss down!

Just leave your expectations at the door, enjoy some circuits, the warm magic of the forest, some smelly cheese and bread and grab the harder sends when you can.
