Hey peeps
Heading down to Tassie with a mate largely for some hiking and camping, but hoping to squeeze a climb in as well. We'll largely be in the South West and around Hobart. I'm just coming back from injury so only looking to do very low grade stuff. Low teens for trad or mid to high teens for sport. Ability to setup a top rope also an option as my mate hasn't climbed in ages.
Any suggestions?

Yeah Lassies Wall or Whitewater Wall for sure.
(Few hours drive from the city though, keep that in mind)

Great suggestions, thanks! I forgot how small Tassie is, 2 hr drive is totally doable.
Apline on Whitewater wall looks like good times. Any of you guys done it? Two pitches?
Thanks

Apline is classic. 2 pitch. If it's hard enough for Kim Carrigan, it's hard enough for me.
Lassie's Waĺl is excellent and eazy to top rope. World class quality under grade 16.
Camping is sen sensational.
The road in is a bit rugged.

A bit of a sandbag is it then?
Thanks again for the great advice. I'll have my Forester on this trip so should be all good to get through the tracks.
Cheers

Hillwood north of Launceston has fantastic bolted routes all grades. It's right near the river so you can swim after climbing. Locals are super friendly.
Around Hobart, the Organ Pipes, but, if you are looking for a quick sport fix - either Waterworks or Freuhauf.

Rysavy Ridge, Mt Roland. It's only grade 12. Let me know how you get on.
