Also CSIRO report found here... http://www.ausport.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0019/523450/The_Future_of_Australian_Sport_-_Full_Report.pdf Since the state forest regulation seems to be all about safety I found this line very interesting in the report considering motorbike riding and 4wd driving is okay in State forest...actual risk and perceived risk are two very different things. Off-road motorsports had the highest rate of major trauma and death at 118.9 per 100,000 participants per year, and also showed a significant increase in major trauma rates over the study period (Andrew et al., 2011)
