HI All,

Want to try this climb but noticed the descriptionin the blueys guide is 10 years old and a bit vague. Does it require Trad gear? If not, is it carrots all bolts?

If anyone has climbed it lately would love to hear from you.
Cheers

Cool, when did you last climb it? Are there any carrots still?

Stop messing with my memory. Maybe there are carrots on the first pitch... definitely didn't take any cams though.

Yep carrots. I don't recall using cams or nuts but I did carry a few middle to small sizes plus my stoppers. Nice route.

It's a mix of carrots & rings.

Be warned - there are at least 3 sets of bolts leading from the top of the pinnacle back up to the abseil tree - none of which is easy to follow. Great climb though, enjoy!

Expecting a trip report next week.
I took a friend from overseas up it last October, and he absolutely loved it. Different rock than he was used to and of course the scenery was awesome.
