Hey all,
I will be in the US for a few days in August this year, and among other places I will be in Las Vegas for a couple of days. I'm interested in heading to Red Rock Canyon while I am there.
As I won't be bringing alot of equipment (just a light sport rack, and possibly buying a bouldering mat while I am there), so I am mostly interested in recommendations for single pitch sport areas, or bouldering.
Anyone been there, have anything to recommend? Or places to avoid?
I have: http://www.amazon.com/Red-Rock-Canyon-Climbing-ebook/dp/B001PIIE5Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&m=A24IB90LPZJ0BS&s=digital-text&qid=1305454696&sr=1-1
However the descriptions are so limited and number of places to overwhelming I am struggling to work out where to go, as I'm quite limited for time and would prefer not to have to do too much exploring...
Thanks!
Tom

Tom,
Anything around the First Pullout, Second Pullout (The Gallery and Black Corridor) will occupy a few days easily. Access is easy and the routes are not too bad, with some being excellent.Another good option is Sunny and Steep with a longer walk in.

any wall facing north will be fine. the walk in should be done early to avoid heat. it costs to get into the park every day
