Tooling around in Google Earth and came across this picture of Danjera Dam:

Anyone been down there? Kayak mission with climbing boots could be in order when the weather warms up.

Looks like limestone to me, so may not be too slabby. If it is, and you fall, then pushing off may suffice? The orange portion is most likely overhanging...
I am lazy today. Where the hell is Danjera Dam? ... as it does not ring any NSW bells in my mind.
Re the

I hadn't heard of it either. Back of Nowra, it's one of the feeder dams... and yes, it's limestone.

Danjera Dam was formed when the Shoalhaven council decided to flood Yalwal an old gold mining town...
It is the start of the Shoalhaven Gorge which leads up to Bungonia and travels thru the Ettrima wilderness areas...
You can do a canoe trip down the upper Shoalhaven and some of the pictures i have seen show fantastic cliffs...
How do you get to the top is anyones guess..
Not many people swim in this dam and a story going around is the water is not that great since all the mining tailings run into it

If you want to investigate some deep water soloing on limestone it might be worth checking out Block-up Gorge on the Shoalhaven. The cliffs are about 80m high and get very slaby at the top but there could be some good climbing up to ledges or roped climbing to the top. I remember thinking there maybe some limited deep water soloing on the Northern side. I never tried anything there as I was always paddling down from Horseshoe bend so had no boots or time.
Access is through Bungonia NP (but before the entrance gates) down a track between two farms (look for the old fuel tanks on the RH side of the hill), go though a few gates heading left at the forks until the track ends at Tressels trail. Walk down the big hill - 15minutes to the river (superb camping). Block-up gorge is about 20minutes easy walk/paddle upstream.

Ive heard potential for DWS at a place near Thommo's, a few bends round from the ski park heading away from the Bridge... I think the area is called 'red bluff'? not sure though... but heard there's a cliffline there, meant to be popular for jumpers. Apparently can walk in from North Nowra down a dirt track somwhere off Illaroo rd.
