I always forget about Washington. Try round a town called Leavenworth, lots of granite, more easier stuff (up to 5.11). East of Mt Rainier its a rain shadow (ie almost desert) so rock climbing would *probably* be good in April. Also there's a spot near Eureka (Montana) that I've heard good things about.
Don't go to the Bugs in June - even if you have good weather all the big classics will still be covered in snow. Lower-elevation stuff would be ok, but you don't want to fly half round round the world just to climb the Crescent Spires...
I've been told the sandstone near St George Utah is worth stopping at, but that might only be because its half way between Canmore & Red Rocks.
