Got this reply to a recent inquiry: On Friday, 6 August 2010 8:46 AM, Southern Link Upgrade wrote: Unfortunately we do not have a set date for the reopening of the climbing wall, however it is targeted to be open late in the year. The extended off-peak detour of the shared user path for works east of Burnley Harbour is targeted to be finished at the end of October, as due to their immensely disruptive nature they are being prioritised. I apologise for not being able to give you a definitive date and will certainly inform you as soon as one is available.
