The slab I think you mean is just to the right of Frankenstein. I did it on toprope (and no #4%^ing way did I it without the rope!). After somebody put the bolt on top (in 2001 I think), it was just too tempting to try this line. I have no idea of the grade, other than 'bloody hard for me', it was called 'Bride of Frankenstein'. The late, and very sadly missed Phil Ritchie held the rope.

The climbing gets harder and harder towards the top, with the crux being a very sketchy sequence on almost nothing pockets to reach the top. The way I climbed it was slightly contrived - no left hand arete at all, even though at the top you end up close to the arete. This seemed the most natural line. I do hope somebody else has a go at it!
