There're some good walks around the park, particularly out to Og Gog and Magog, Mt Mackay, the Back Wall etc, also, if you're into fly fishing try your luck in Catani, there are some very finiky trout there but you should pull a few on size 20 or smaller red tag or other beetle or ant patterns. Also, I have had quite a bit of luck with 1kg on a super light spin outfit - for bait, wait until the march flies bite you then catch them and put them on live (no sinker - no float), the trout can't resist. I've also always been curious to try some ultra small surface lures at night around the deeper snags towards the weir wall end.
