Bit of a long shot. Does anyone know if there is anything worth climbing in or around the Dargo area?

Have a look through the Eastern Victoria guide. There has been a bit of climbing recorded along the Mitchell River and there are some other bits and pieces nearby. The guide contains the original access 'descriptions', which means you will still require a modicum of luck to find some of the cliffs. I was up that way about a month ago trying to sort out some details and only managed to sort out the Mitchell River crags (The Amphitheatre).

Mitchell River has some good sandstone climbing. Quite easy access too.

Nielsons Crag is another esoteric traddy area in the Dargo area. Some photos here:

No-one really climbs in this area, so you'll have the place to yourselves.

Anything lower down, ie up some of the valleys closer to Dargo?
