Not entirely unreasonable. A red camelot is about 64 canadian dollars before tax, basically the same as
the US i think. a few months ago it cost me about 85 AUD all told. Dont forget our dollar is stronger now.
so the difference is less. for about 75 AUD you can buy a new cam. Almost half the price of here.
If you have the capital and the baggage allowance available you can virtually pay for your trip to the
states or canada upon returning to australia and realising your profits by undercutting archaic shopfronts
and their price fixing consortiums.
Those willing to shelve a few cams for 20 hours or so, and thus get ahead of the 20 kilo baggage limit,
stand to make quite a pretty sum.
