Hello,
I'm on a climbing tour in this beautiful country and was recently shocked to see what the shops are selling gear for. I'm happy to sell off quite a bit of my gear before I leave to help some folks (and myself) out. I'm not here to screw anyone (including shops) or make a bunch of cash off the int. exchange rate system but rather to hook some folks up while lightening my travel load.

Realize that the gear is all used; some more than others. The main catch is that I'll be using the stuff until i leave around jan 13th so it is not available until about a week or so before then. I'll be in tazi then melbourne. Also the prices and condition are bound to change a bit as I log more airtime in the next 2 months. I understand that used gear always looks a lot more used if you were not the one using it and aren't 100% on the history. All I can say is that I am still trusting my life on all this stuff and have fallen less than 2 times on any piece of gear (0 times on most of it; actually 4 lead falls on the rope-all about .6 fall factor). That said I do like to build my anchors with the older cams and save the newer ones for the sharp end when possible!

The deal:
I've got a double set of bd cams .5- 2. Double set of micro cams too(mostly metolius but assorted). single (almost new) bd 4 and 5 cams. one set of cams is quite new, the other is rather old. 2 sets of nuts- pretty used. a set of micro nuts- pretty new. the rope is a maxim 10.2 60 m which was new a month ago. I suppose the bd momentum harness and helmet could go too. You don't want my stanky shoes! Oh yeah got a few dozen biners (mostly hot wires) and a few lockers as well. I'm thinking that 60-95% of US retail is a pretty fair deal all around (price depending on the condition of each piece). That puts the red c4 almost new camalot around 75 AUS while the older one would be more like 50 AUS. I'd sell the rope for about 200 AUS. less if it gets more wipperified.

Email me at maddogemht@yahoo.com if interested.
