They left the pad under the shelter at the campground as it was raining. A bunch of young guys from Sydney were just there to camp for one night and get really drunk etc...when the climbers woke up they found bits of the pad in the fire...they asked the drunk campers and they denied burning it but then confessed when the climbers pointed out the "evidence". The climbers attempted to stop the drunk campers from leaving with an otto bin...but couldn't! Stefan and his friends are on a few month climbing trip from Germany so its a real bummer to lose the pad! Anyone got an old one lying around they don't need? Or any bargains for him?
