|SOLD: LaSportiva Mythos size Euro 41
For sale is a pair of near new LaSportiva Mythos - Size Euro 41 - $80
Colour: Tan/Light brown with black rubber/rand
(worn twice at the gym, then realizing they are far too big for me)
No odour (still has the new shoe / fresh leather smell), and the ink in the shoe stating size is still visible, as is the LaSportiva ink-stamp on the sole of the shoe (
These retail brand new at Mountain Equipment in Sydney for $240 or so.
The reviews for this shoe:
These are great shoes, and I really like them... except it's the wrong size for me.
They have a lacing system that reaches around the back of the heel to give you a very snug, tight fit.
Best of all, they are leather, which means you can have them mold/contour to your feet with time (...or dip them in warm water while you're wearing them - I haven't done this to this pair). I think this would be a good thing to do for people with realtively wide feet.
After 2 climbs at the gym, I was told by an observant (experienced) climber that they are far too big for my feet... (yes, I AM a noob, thank you for asking...).
They are a Euro size 41, measuring about 26.5 cm from heel to toe on the outside (my foot is 24cm...).
I am located in Ryde, Sydney.
Available for pick up, or will consider posting at buyer's expense.
Would anyone know how big LaSportiva Mythos shoes are compared to Anasazi VCS's?
I have a pair of size 9US Anasazi's which are really tight but want another pair of shoes for easier/longer/trad climbing. This would be a great deal if they fitted comfortably.
mmm....wish I could help you there, buddy...
I've never worn a pair of Anasazi's before, so I don't know if their sizings are similar.
The only thing I would suggest is to go to your local rock climbing / gear store, and try them on if they have them there...
They are 26.5 cm on the outside, so if you're feet are roughly that in length, then being leather, they should conform and fit to your feet with time for width (or, you can dunk them in luke warm water whilst wearing them).
Sorry to sound like I'm pushing to sell these. Having said that, only get shoes if you are sure of the sizing. As most of you here would already appreciate.
I am in Sydney only for the next 3 weeks - after this time, I am being posted to Tamworth for 6 months, so if anyone in Tamworth is interested, I can bring them along.
