Hmmm...having gone through quite a few pairs of the velcros I agree the heel on the old ones are crap and absolutely useless for heel hooking...however, the new Velcros have a way slimmer heel and when I tried them on I actually had very little room in my heel (unlike my old ones). Having said that, my old Dragons and new V10's are bomber for heels :)

I have a new pair of Velcros in size 41.5, but they are currently for a friend...will let people know if he doesn't want them.

By the way, the new Velcros are a whole cm bigger than the old ones (i.e those with Stealth C4 rubber and not the new Onyx). I normally wear 41.5 and when I got these new ones and measured them up to my old ones they were a whole centimetre bigger! So if you're normally a 42.5, these should be perfect.
