Cross train with symmetric exercise, I try to run, cycle, swim, hike, and weight train. Ease your way into any exercise routine. Going to hard at the start will almost certainly guarantee an injury.

Most people prefer either their right or left. When you climb, specially when you push your self, you will find that you will reach/step up with your prefer side. You will climb asymmetrically and your physical development will also be asymmetric.

Train your self not to become so dependent on that prefer side. Step down a few grades and be deliberate in your motion/execution. You will find that your climbing will become more symmetric, and your body will develop in a more symmetric manner.

Finally don't stress there is no such thing as a perfectly symmetrical human being. Your preferred arm will always be stronger and bigger than the other.
