What grade do you comfortably climb? Tuesday, 4 January 2011 At 1:01:59 PM davidn

I'm just curious what clientele/population chocky represents, and given it's anonymous, there should be no reason for the results to be skewed. The numbers don't mean anything in particular, just a way of grouping grades so it fits in 8 options.

For definitional purposes, this is not about onsight ability nor best grade climbed; this is about what you'd be happy to swear on a stack of bibles you can climb comfortably, even if it meant doing it in the next five minutes.

If you boulder, convert as per your own formula or the one at http://www.australianbouldering.com/table.html (though personally I think at least V0-4 are probably more like +18 than +21). Heck, if you have a better formula, please post it!

Edit: Preference is lead over top roping. So if you lead 15s, pick that, even if you top rope 22s. However, if you top rope 28s but never lead, pick that option. If you top rope 37 but never lead, you are a liar sir, but well played in advance.
