so my g/f and i are heading to canada in dec for a year We'll be climbing and skiing and prob a bit of mountaineering. I'll be taking my rack but buying most other gear over there. I'm not really a big believer in travel insurance but would like to be covered medically. So insurance of gear would probably only be necessary for the plane trip. i've heard that their medical system is harsh and that they wont touch you unless you've got insurance. What have others done or experienced, heard? Cheers Nathan
