I was there yesterday arvo and it was BLOODY windy. For example I was having trouble hearing my partner from the top of death row pinacle - thats only 40m above the ground. Given what kieranl said that temps dropped to -2 degrees in horsham, no doubt they would have been hypothermic if they spent more of the night up there.

So lets say that they didn't call emergency services and waited for their friends a couple hours longer. IF it turned out no one found them, and emergency services were called later on - we'd probably be criticising them for not calling emergency services sooner.

Given the conditions things could have turned out a lot worse - I can't blame them for erring on the side of caution. Embarrassingly for them they were in such an easy to access spot and now look stupid for making such a big deal about it.

So just wondering do the people who dissed them earlier still think they were pussies and should have waited the night out?
