Climbing helps with martial arts and boxing, as i have trained both on and off for a bout 8 years, and after starting climbing 5 years ago, as my upper body strength improved all my punching improved with it. Pushups didnt get much easier, but punching definantly did, not to mention confidence having a bit more bulk, and also having muscle mass on forearms helps alot with blocking as u have nice soft forearm muscles padding around ur bones, plus more mass on ur arm makes for more impact on ur punches if u can still punch at the same speed. Bigger shoulders definantly helped in boxing too, but over all the skills of climbing are specific to climbing, but i believe climbing is useful for crosstraining, fitness etc...
