You could try getting to know some of the older climbers at they gym you go to, they may be happy to take you with them when they go outdoors if they are short a belayer. Lots of climbers will be happy to take an extra person on trips with them in order to reduce the fuel cost. Joining the VCC is probably a good idea too. |
