We have our guides qualified through PACI as it is the only climbing instructor association that can offer nationaly recognised qualifications, which is then recognised by insurance agencies!. It also gives you strict guidelines to follow after you have completed your course this way helping to keep the insurance costs down and they make sure you keep up to date with your quals such as vertical rescue, leading etc.
Though I do agree with Phil and think that the NOLRS will be taken to well as it does give you flexibility in your choice of quals. Although they would not give you a qual that is at a standard such as ACIA or PACI. |
