I've always got the motovation to climb, but as time is limiting factor it is hard to get out regularly climbing so that you continually improve. My other problem is I enjoy doing so many other outdoor sports/activities. I think as long as your have a good balance between having fun and pushing hard, motovation will come naturally. I agree that the group u r climbing with makes a big difference. Especially if they are climbing a grade or 2 above your limits, you seem to find that bit extra to make it up the climb...
