I don't climb at Seaford regularly because there are other gyms closer to home, but ive probably visited 2 or 3 times a year for the last 10 or so years.

The following reasons may be possibilities why climbers allocate preferances to other gyms.
Many of the holds are greasy, slippry and worn smooth so less enjoyable to climb on.
The positioning of many of the belays on the overhanging walls means that when the climber falls at about 2m off the ground they will swing and crash into the belayer.
The option of lead climbing is no longer avaliable.
Route setting at seaford doesn't require you to need as much technique.
The paint job on the walls is starting to look a bit tacky.

Although both Hardrock and Bayside Rock are closer to my home I think that I will still make the occaisonal visit to Seaford as it is a less intimadating environment to introduce beginers to climbing in.
