I love what Crux represents – you’ve certainly got the chemistry right.
Can I make an obvious suggestion that may assist you to claw your way back.

Crux has always ‘felt’ substantial, with issue # 7 being 80 pages. In a limited market where you’ve gotta be lean and mean, try reducing the number of pages. The local competitor regularly publishes with sub 50 pages issues. As long as your sub 50 are consistently high quality and representative of the Crux magic, it should be a winner. As in TV, content is king. 48 pages of killer content should keep the now sympathetic market more than happy.

And the other thing, depending on quantity, is to maybe consider printing digitally instead of offset?
