I reckon that distinguishing red pointing and pink pointing in sport climbing is a waste of time as sending your harder climbs with drawers already on is pretty much the norm these days.

Don't get me wrong I think there is a difference (route dependent) but save it for bragging rights rather than a distinction.

I have sent quite a few of my harder routes putting the draws on mainly because I have a wonderful talent of choking on jugs above cruxes. These routes however all have relativley easy clipping stances so really it doesn't make much difference so even my bragging rights are diminished.

If I sent a route putting the drawers on where the crux was pretty much just clipping the draws then you would find me later that evening at the Ivanhoe bragging until the cows come home.

if we distinguish pink and red points should we distinguish onsighting on a steep well trafficked wall with chalk (and esp tick marks) vs a chalkless rarely climbed wall?
