I agree and having climbed with M9 (if this is the same one as the original!) many times in the past I can safely say that he definately takes on some gnarly crumbly stuff that I wouldn't be caught dead on (dead... get it?), but he also always puts safety 1st.

Quite simply I'm not going to get into a debate about who's been climbing the longest and who's dick is bigger, more to the point of the debate is that I'm entirely conscious that in the areas I have put up new routes and written them up (some are reasonably remote and may never get repeated again because they were put up by me and 1 other mate and they're not written up!) I do not want to have a death on my hands as I know that people will be flogging themselves up them for many years to come...on that note I will probably go back every few years and replace the bolts that are there just to make sure.

On a side note, I have absolutely no issue with doing crazy things like walking a raft into a remote area and rafting down a little used river to put up some climbs with bashies that will never get repeated...personally I think that's an awesome adventure and would like to be invited next time :)
