Claiming and guidebook ticks |

I was trawling through a Thailand guidebook the other day and noticed a climb that I kinda had'a done. The dilemma was, I reached the clipping hold on this route but fell off before clipping the chain, so didn't put a tick next to it. I've done this on several other sport routes previously and not counted them... so my question is, who would claim this as an ascent and put the revered tick next to the route? |
