i'm currently living at araps and I don't know of anyone who's there fulltime actually getting the dole. Last time i checked (just before i moved to araps), the dole sounded like more work than actual work, and paid pretty much shit all. all the longterm guys seem to be living off a bare minimum but are doing so on cash saved up, including myself. i think a few chocky users may be stuck in the past when getting the dole was actually easy and simple and allowed them to climb and not go to horsham a couple of days a week to make up crap excuses. it seems far easier to work your ass off for a month or two, save up a few k, then be a bum
