settle down old timer you dont want to get to worked up about that horrible prediciment you have got yourself into, dont worry though there is still hope, i advise you to quit your job, probably lose the beautiful woman (unless she is a climber), and move down to the pines.
the pension is just around the corner so it will only be a few years doing it tough. then you should be sweet.
by the way, i would take a beer at the pines over a nice bottle of shiraz (although i do enjoy both) anytime!
