I wear boxers whilst climbing but I use a fully adjustable harness that fits comfortably and I can climb a whole day without taking it off or adjusting my undies at all. I don't think that could happen to us as the force of impact is in a slightly different direction, ie the rally driver is pushed fully forward into the harness due to deceleration whereas the typical climbing fall sits the climber into his harness, so the whole leg loop takes the weight as opposed to the crotch straps alone. Also, deceleration from 60mph to 0 almost instantaneously is highly unlikely to happen on modern ropes, even with a completely unattentive belayer.
