Has anybody stayed at any of the short-term rental properties in Castle Hill Village? If so what'd you think? Also, do you need a car to get to the boulders from the village. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Stayed at a few of them and can thoroughly recommend staying in the village. They're comfy and warm (unless JJ lights the fire!!) and really make for an enjoyable bouldering trip. You need a car to get to the boulders, it's a few km's drive to Quantum/Spittle or Flock Hill car parks. All the houses in the village are of a high standard, built to keep the skiers happy in the winter. I've always thought they were reasonably priced, especially if you fill them up with people.
Ahhhh, a day of the best bouldering in a stunning location, a short walk/drive home and a nice crisp beer fresh from the fridge as you watch the sun go down from your warm chalet...it doesn't get any better Benno!!
Damn, when's my next trip??

Hey Benno,

A group of us stayed at "Max's House" there and it was AWESOME! The ONLY way to travel (Cookie would approve!)

2 mins drive to the fields, hot showers, tv, power, good beds!

So much of a difference to come back to a proper feed and bed!

Give me a holler if you need some links or an email for the owner
