Ev, I think you have been watching me a little too much! Though I must admit, the other day I was doing overhanging double dynos with a 10kg weight belt on - just for shits and giggles mind you - and I felt rather ridiculous to say the least!

I agree, though, that there is no comparison of gym to rock. I went from the gym to outdoor and had to break so many bad habits it wasn't funny! Now I don't climb in the gym, I just boulder. I save all my climbing for real rock and use the gym purely for training strength & endurance. And my first encounter with a crack was Little Thor and no amount of gym practice helped me on that one!
