I almost want to say harden the f--- up.
But I won't.

So I would suggest buying a tent, buying a nice thick thermarest or down filled mattress, a light sleeping bag for the summer ahead. Cook a couple of meals and freeze them at home, they'll be defrosted by the time you need them, means you can climb all day and only need to heat up food instead of preparing a meal and cooking it too.. Take a picnic blanket (to cover the bird poo (there it is again, poo) stained tables) Buy a little LED lantern so you can see any creature that comes your way. Take a few(plenty?) bottles of nice wine, a selection of cheese and crackers. Dont forget to take a head torch and a big sealable box to contain all your precious food and goodies.
