a bit of an eye opener about why immigration is a net positive on the local economy, its because they screen people for employability and any health problems they have, but it doesn't look so nice when you pick out individual people. of course its discrimination, thats what a selection process is..

i'd be interested to see the public reaction if immigration was more lenient and had a significant net cost. (note i'm not supporting the way its run etc just thought i'd bring it up)
