In our 'go hard' days WWS and I thought what's the point in superannuation as we are almost guarenteed to get the chop climbing! Though my thoughts about checking-out whilst climbing have subdued since then, my thoughts regarding superannuation haven't. Why leave it to greedy a-holes to manage - I just shake my head at the care-factor of some of those finance people and the big $ their earn. I reckon the only person you can rely on to look after your game plan is yourself. Me - after I pay off the house I'm going to start looking for some nice rural land somewhere - preferably where it rains and has good soil. Then, regardless of how much greed stuffs the world, at least I'll be able to live in a Yurt, grow veges and stroke my beard (yet to be grown).
