Yeah thanks for the advice, cancelled this weekends trip as the weather looks very ordinary, big snow falls very cold and white outs! Ive contacted a few of the services up there such as hoys, who want 170 for 5 people, Alpine Taxis who want 190 for 5 (not including the mountain pass that they reckon I'd have to pay) and the snowball express which I think quoted me 59 for 2 people and no need to pay the pass, the only problem with the bus is they cant guarantee they could stop at the diamantina due to weather so I guess the option would be to walk back down from Hotham village. I guess we could always just walk in via the bungalow but theres 2 10 year olds with us so with good weather it would be much more enjoyable to do the full traverse along the razorback and down the spur..
