I actually recommend a curious session of toproped aiding (find a crackline of varying width). this forces you to at least body weight every piece, but also forces you to find a placement every few feet. You will probably be surprised at what holds and what doesnt. As you're on toprope you dont need etriers etc: use slings and rest as required. (Do read up on anchor systems first, so that the toprope belay is solid.)
