While climbing at Cathedrals on the weekend I was talking with a Parks guy and he said that there are some (more) changes planned for the campground. Parks Victoria have a new system operating where you can book and pay for camping over the net (at Cathedrals at least). Apparently the next step being considered is marking out individual campsites so that you reserve the x square metres labelled as Site 6. The same treatment is proposed for The Grampians, Arapiles etc. etc. etc. Except for the Prom and places like that, do we want our campgrounds marked out into individual, numbered campsites that you reserve before you go? |
