I agree, with this entirely - if you're only interested in the lines, just go for a walk and climb what looks good. If you need a guide to find the nice lines, you get the grades.

On an aside, Simon, if you don't put them in can you email me all the stuff you've put together regarding grades as I'd like to have it for my own interest.
