Dam cliffs, Upper Shipley and Bardens Lookout, also parts of Mount York (sector 5?) and New York all good for easy/moderate sport climbs. Of those Dam cliffs is not too hot and you can have a swim - shipley and bardens fry on a hot arvo. Not sure about top roping - some potential at the dams but the others you'd have the lead first I think.
Camping at Perrys Lookdown is near Blackheath, nice spot and free. There's also some NPWS sites just down the road from Shipley near the Megalong Valley crags. Then there's a commercial campsite at Blackheath as well. |
