You can't be serious? That is just complete nonsense.

Whatever the virtues of carrots over rings/brackets may be, being akin to natural pro is not one of them. By the same reasoning its even more like pro if you place each biner and the sling in between one at a time because you get a bit more pumped doing it.

Carrots have their place, as do rings, but each of them differs from natural pro in that they are an artificial point of protection that does not utilise natural features. The important (and defining) characteristic of natural pro isn't the difficulty or otherwise of placing it, but the fact that it relies on the natural features of the rock.
