Alfred Gregory was the official photographer with the British team that made the first successful ascent of Mount Everest in 1953. 'Greg' an avid climber and photographer has an exhibition of the photographs taken on the expedition and will be speaking of the climb with an intimate audience on Sunday 10 February 2008.

I saw another exhibition of his photos in St Kilda a couple years ago - pretty cool if you like seeing cool old photos etc.

a classic.
