Hmm, I guess I kind of did a 'rock change'. I was living in Melbourne, and wanting to play cricket and climb quality rock on my weekends. Those of you living in Melbourne would know that unless you include the Yarra Boulevard Bluestone Bridge as quality rock, this is not very acheivable. My profession is as a traffic engineer, which means for work you really need to work in a mid to large sized city.

I was mulling all this over one day, when I saw an ad for a traffic engineering job in Hobart. I took that as a sign and sent them my cv the next day. My outstanding resume won me the job (ok, I was the only applicant....). A week I had been offered and accepted the job. One of the benefits of being a single man.
