Single Bolt to mark Projects Unacceptable |

A new bolt has appeared at the Cluan Tier - a single bolt with a red tag on an uncleaned line. It looks like someone has put the bolt in from the ground about 2m up the line, red tagged it and claimed the line as a project. This behaviour is unacceptable in my opinion. I would have thought that cleaning the line, top-roping it to see if it goes, then placing all the bolts would be the minimum requirement to stake a claim on a potential project. I have removed the red tag. Is putting a single bolt at the base of an uncleaned line sufficient to claim a project? What do people think? |
